The National Service Scheme (NSS) is an Indian government-sponsored flagship for public service program conducted by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports of the Government of India. The main objective of which is to develop the personality of the youth and to connect the youth with the rural community. The Higher Education Department has added NSS to the regular curriculum. It is necessary to have its unit in all educational institutions. At present, SAGE University is one of the well-known institutions. This group is a big name of various institutions. In which SAGE University has different dimensions, whether it is modern methods of education or different platforms of social service, this article is based on the social service scenario of SAGE University. The SAGE University received the official letter for 03 NSS units on o7 January 2021, but the university was conducting a variety of social activities before getting the units. The university has been carrying out a variety of social activities in collaboration with the True Sage Foundation even before the NSS unit was formally launched. The university was awarded 3 units through a formal letter from the Open NSS office. The program officers of these 3 units are - Dr. Jaya Sharma, Dr. Manish Mishra and Er. Neeraj Jain. Also, a Red Ribbon Club has been established along with the unit of NSS. Its convenor is Dr. Sehba Jafri.
Even in times of epidemics like COVID the volunteers of Jesus have not stopped. He is promising to be his youth and he is vigorously engaged in the fight against Corona and we are confident that we will win. All the members of the university are always ready for the guidance of the students of SAGE University.
A small array of efforts made by students is enough to be seen in this article.
