About Incubation:-

IET, SAGE University, Indore is recognized as “Host Institute” by the Ministry of Micro , Small & Medium Industries in the year 2019. Govt. of India. Under “Support for Entrepreneurial and Managerial Development of SMEs: Through Incubators” Scheme of DCMSME. The incubator is established to help entrepreneurs in realizing their dreams through state of the art facility available at the institute, business advisory support, mentoring and technical services.
  • Objective
    • Promoting Innovative Ideas and Sharpening Entrepreneurship Acumen – Scheme of “Support for Entrepreneurial and Managerial Development of SMEs Through Incubators”).
    • Under this scheme Government of India is providing opportunity to the individual innovators in developing and nurturing their new innovative ideas for the production of new innovative products which can be sent in to the market for commercialization.
    • Host Institutions (HI) are exploring the new innovative ideas from the Incubates of various sectors that may be existing and prospective entrepreneurs.
    • Even the students from the various streams are also participating in nurturing their new ideas through the Host Institutions as a part of their studies and carrier building.
  • Facilities available
    • Technology Consultancy
    • Assistance in identification and evaluating the technology and know-how.
    • Business Facilitation.
    • Pre-feasibility studies, Project appraisal, Market research and techno-economic studies.
    • Training: Training will be arranged based on the requirement of the prospective entrepreneur. The training can be in the specialized technical areas, Entrepreneurship Development, or Management.

    • Ready to use state of art office space with furniture, connectivity, networking, office support and common facilities like meeting room, fax, copies etc.
    • Library: Also the entrepreneurs will be permitted to use the institute library.

  • Financial Assistance under the Scheme:
    • Up to maximum of Rs. 15 lakh per idea shall be provided to HI for developing and nurturing the ideas.
    • Up to Rs. 1.00 cr. (max) shall be provided to HI for procurement and installation of relevant plant and machines including hardware and software etc. in BI for R&D activities and common facilities for incubates of BI.
