This program enables you to choose a career from various stage of media production. With an emphasis on the social and cultural impact of various media forms this program examines the technologies, practices and policies that drive modern media communication. Applied skills such as image building, different styles of writing, editing and working with layout software, audio-video editing techniques are also covered. The Sage University Journalism course will develop in students an awareness and appreciation of the foundations of the First Amendment and ethical issues in the media, the ability to think critically, creatively and independently. the ability to write correctly and clearly in forms and styles appropriate for scholarly research as well as the communication professions, audiences and purposes they serve, awareness and appreciation of the diversity of groups in a global society in relationship to communications, the ability to gather and critically evaluate in-depth information from diverse sources, understanding of the history and history has affected individuals and society, the ability to produce news stories, public relations materials or media analyses that are clear, accurate, thorough, cogent and fair, understanding of current media technologies and their capabilities, limitations and implications from multiple perspectives, including that of producer, participant and audience.

Admission Rules

Admissions in all courses which are offered by the University will be done As per Merit basis based on marks of qualifying examination, who are eligible (fulfill the eligibility as per criterion) and shall be done strictly according to it. The admission procedure will be completed before the commencement of the academic session or the last date of the admission decided by the Academic Council.


The candidates who are appearing in the respective qualifying examination prescribed for eligibility for admission to a particular program of study are considered eligible for appearing in the entrance examination. However, in the event of their selection they are granted admission subject to their securing the prescribed percentage of marks in the qualifying examination and submission of all documents including final mark sheet of the qualifying examination. The SC/ST. and Physically Challenged (Handicapped) candidates who have passed the qualifying examination irrespective of their percentage of marks are eligible to appear in the Entrance Examination.
