Overview

Institute of Pharmaceutical Science is a new feather in SAGE University, which has been approved by PCI (Pharmacy council of India) Recognized by MPPURC (Madhya Pradesh Private University Regulatory Commission), M.P. The goal of this institute is to provide quality pharmacy education with the vision to develop better health care Professionals. Pharmacy degrees combine academic research with more vocational training and professional pharmacy skills, such as learning about legal and ethical issues and how to interact with patients. The student will learn all about drug and dosage forms manufacturing aspects along with analysis, distribution and effective use of drugs. They will learn to specialize in the role of master of drugs or in a particular field of medical care.

-::- PO 1.    Pharmacy Knowledge: Possess knowledge and comprehension of the core and basic knowledge associated with the profession of pharmacy, including biomedical sciences; pharmaceutical sciences; behavioural, social, and administrative pharmacy sciences; and manufacturing practices. 

-::- PO 2. Planning Abilities: Demonstrate effective planning abilities including time management, resource management, delegation skills and organizational skills. Develop and implement plans and organize work to meet deadlines.

-::- PO 3.     Problem analysis: Utilize the principles of scientific enquiry, thinking analytically, clearly and critically, while solving problems and making decisions during daily practice. Find, analyze, evaluate and apply information systematically and shall make defensible decisions.

Salient Features of Pharmaceutical Sciences

-::- Incomparable infrastructure which fulfills the norms of PCI and other statutory bodies, location wise situated at totally free from pollution and congestion which provides a suitable environment for the sound concentration for study.

-::- Conveyance problems for the students have no values as University buses are available at Indore and to the radius of 60 Kms.

-::- Institute is having fully equipped 14 laboratories. Very shortly the institute is going to collaborate with the industries for MOU (either the product may be completed in our labs along with R&D or the students will finalize the product inside the industry).

-::- The library is containing more than 3.2 thousand books even in 2nd year; the aim is to make it National Open e-Library, so the students of the whole Indore and surroundings may take the benefits that to be with a nominal or nil charges.

-::- Probably no word is available to major the altitude of teaching staff. It can be very easily understood that all the staff members are highly experienced and a number of research scholars are enrolled for Ph.D. under all the teaching staff.
