The Department of Applied Science with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Communication Skills was established in the year of 2017 with an intention to provide pedestal knowledge to ease the acquisition of engineering revelation. The Basic Science with Communication knowledge is disseminated by highly qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty members. Applied Science Department plays an important role in encouraging, molding and shaping the Engineering entry-level students.

The great management consultant & educator, Peter Drucker once said-

“Knowledge has to be improved, challenged & increased constantly, on it vanishes.”

We follow the above thought practically. Knowledge updating is done periodically as it is the need of the hour. For the betterment of students, we emphasize the course content through lectures, notes, text, experiments, examples, and illustrations.

We encourage our students to achieve knowledge through experiments & other sources. We help them to enhance their ability and imagination through shared knowledge & prepare them for this modern technological era.

The students at Applied Science Department, in close collaboration with faculty, develop specialized knowledge in their chosen disciplines, rigorous critical thinking, and get in the habits of life-long learning and sensitivity to ethical and aesthetic issues. Their ability to understand and interpret the cultures of the world, make them pursue choose careers with distinction and become independent-minded, responsible citizens.

• Welcome to the Department of Applied Science, an important discipline which relies on the existing scientific knowledge to develop technology as well as gives way to explore new horizon. The department’s role in establishment of any University is immensely important. In order to lay a strong foundation of basic concepts in the minds of fresh entrants of various disciplines. The inclusion of subjects of Applied Sciences such as Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Communication Skills in every discipline is mandatory.

Our faculties’ features/ papers published in National as well as International journals of repute reflect their knowledge and level of learning. Our teaching pedagogy lays equal emphasis on theory and practical. The state of the art teaching methodology in classroom learning involves use of innovative strategies, comprehensive lectures, regular assignments and counseling sessions of teachers with the students.
