Proctor Committee

The undersigned is pleased to constitute the Proctor Committee as per the SAGE University Indore Ordinance No. 6, for the academic year 2024-25, with the objective of overseeing the implementation of the University’s rules and regulations regarding student behavior. The committee is established to maintain discipline, oversee student conduct, and ensure a safe and supportive environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

• The Chief Proctor shall take action in all matters which are referred to him for disciplinary action by any responsible person or constituted authority of the University, he may also take action, in matters which come to his knowledge and which in his opinion call for disciplinary action.

• In the opinion of Proctor, the act of indiscipline requiring action if it is not of a serious nature, he may hold a summary inquiry and shall have power to impose the penalties.

• If in the opinion of Proctor, the breach of discipline is of a serious nature he may refer the case for investigation of the Board, Proctor Dy. Chief Proctor and Joint Proctor shall constitute the quorum for sittings of such investigation.
