The SAGE - DIORAMA Institute of Journalism and Mass Communication is a part of SAGE University, Indore. The School while having its own career-oriented independent curriculum partners with an international film brand ‘Diorama’ , owned by Manoj Srivastava Media Corps Private Limited, New Delhi to spice up its curriculum with practical 'hands on education and training'. Headed by Manoj Srivastava, the Former Chief Executive Officer, Entertainment Society of Goa, Government of Goa and Head of National Film Awards, Government of India, the Course brings in high quality international media and entertainment professionals from all over the world to teach at SAGE - DIORAMA Institute of Journalism and Mass Communication. Offering industry-oriented education and connections, this exclusive School moves beyond theoretical and imparts practical, useable education and training which aims at developing ‘Industry ready professionals and entrepreneurs'. Covering a wide spectrum of media, right from Radio, Television, Digital, Events to Films, this Degree Course seeks to develop complete ‘ready for job’ professionals and not just mass media graduates. Course Objectives Over a period of six semesters, the students would be exposed to a broad international perspective of the electronic media and associated career options. The emphasis will be on imparting practical education along with exposure to industry working, prevalent practices, use of latest industry softwares, ethics and values. During this exclusive Course Students will be exposed to new and evolving techniques of anchoring, reporting, editing, radio, television, events and film production, transmission, scheduling, media management, Studio and Outdoor productions and much more through a combination of theory and practical sessions. Over the period of their course, students shall perform each action and function like anchoring, reporting, editing, shooting, designing, scripting, direction, event production themselves.
Indian and foreign nationals who have passed 12th Class under CBSE, ICSE or AICTE or any other internationally recognized Board with a pass percentage of over 50% can apply. All admissions shall be subject to a Live Online Interview. Students who have appeared/are appearing for the Final year/semester examination are also eligible to apply. If selected, their admission will be subject to their producing at least a Provisional marks-sheet/Certificate in original from their college/university latest by 10th October 2021, (extendable in genuine cases after ascertaining the reasons).

Indian Students : Only 22 seats are available in the course . The eligibility criteria is mentioned above. Foreigner’s Quota: Only Eight seats are available in the course for foreign candidates. Selection Procedure: The selection of candidates (other than the Foreign Students) shall be based on their performance in the Online Interview conducted by Institute. Only those students who are eligible with an adequate pass percentage shall be invited for the Online Interview

for a bachelor degree in journalism, generally the minimum eligibility is set at 10+2 certificate and for Post graduate degree courses, a graduate degree in journalism is not required. SAGE University also offer one year certificate courses in journalism for which eligibility is 10+2. |
