Overview

This degree is an undergraduate program that focuses on film production as well as film history, theory, and criticism for duration of 3 years. It includes analyses of a wide variety of films, from Hollywood blockbusters to art house cinema and amateur video.

The benefits of a bachelor’s degree in film studies include being exposed to every aspect of film making and film culture. A student may learn practical skills such as Acting,Body Movements,Camera work, Editing  etc. He or she can also graduate with an understanding of film criticism, how to research and propose a project, and how to manage a film project. Studies may also include Screenwriting and Direction. Widely applicable skills include keen organization and the ability to meet demanding deadlines within a complex schedule.
