Tech. in Computer Science with specialization in Data Science (DS) is an inter-disciplinary field that uses scientific methods, processes, algorithms and systems to extract knowledge and insights from many structural and unstructured data. It is one of the new, exponentially growing field which consists of a set of tools and techniques used to extract useful information from data. The programme encompasses data Science as an interdisciplinary, problem-solving oriented subject that learns to apply scientific techniques to practical problems. The course curriculum involves a blend of data inference, algorithm development, and technology to analytically solve complex problems.
