Artificial Intelligence (AI) is playing an essential role in our daily lives such as obtaining updates about news, finding a restaurant, driving to office and recommendations based on rating on social media are all using AI. As the usage of AI is getting increased, there is a huge demand for researchers and scientists who can understand AI and develop AI technologies. M.Tech in Artificial Intelligence offers students an opportunity to obtain the knowledge about both foundational and experimental components of AI and Machine Learning. Apart from the courses which offer specialization in Artificial Intelligence, the students are also provided with an option to explore some applied areas like natural language processing, computer vision, and robotics and software analysis.

The students who complete this program will be able to get industry careers which includes innovation and problem solving using Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) technologies and research careers in AI, ML, and, in general, Computer Science areas. Artificial Intelligence, sometimes known as Machine Intelligence, is the intelligence exhibited by machines, as compared to the natural intelligence, which is exhibited by humans. Artificial Intelligence emphases mainly on building of intelligent computational processes for the benefit of both creating artificial machines/devices and enhancing the understanding of human intelligence.

Admission Rules

The admission to the M.Tech Program would be made on the basis of the valid Gate score of the candidates and incase of the unavailability of the GATE score holders the seats could be allotted on the basis of merit of SAGE University Entrance Examination(SUET’18)

Eligibility

Minimum 55% marks BE/B.Tech or equivalent in Computer Science & Engg, Information Technology , EC or MCA.GATE/NET qualified students shall be preferred.
