Program Overview

Psychology is a branch of science which deals with the scientific study of mental functions and behaviour. The field includes the study of various fields such as Memory, Learning, Environment & Behaviour, Practicals including Observation & Suggestion, Habit Interference and so on. After the completion of Bachelor of Arts course in Psychology, the aspirants have a wide scope in terms of both higher studies as well as in securing a job. Various post graduate and doctoral courses are available in India in the field of Psychology. The aspirants can also secure a bright career in the allied fields after the completion of under graduate programme in Psychology.

Admission Rules

Admissions in all courses which are offered by the University will be done As per Merit basis based on marks of qualifying examination, who are eligible (fulfill the eligibility as per criterion) and shall be done strictly according to it. The admission procedure will be completed before the commencement of the academic session or the last date of the admission decided by the Academic Council.

Eligibility

  • Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination prescribed for admission to a particular program are eligible to appear in the Entrance Examination.
  • Admission will be granted subject to securing the prescribed percentage of marks in the qualifying examination and submission of all required documents, including the final mark sheet.
  • SC/ST and Physically Challenged (Differently Abled) candidates who have passed the qualifying examination are eligible to appear in the Entrance Examination irrespective of their percentage of marks.
