Overview

SAGE University offers a comprehensive range of undergraduate programs in Agribusiness Management, designed to equip students with strong academic foundations, practical skills, and real-world exposure required to meet the evolving challenges of the agricultural sector. Program Structure

  •  B.Sc. (Hons.) Agribusiness Management (4 Years)

The curriculum integrates agriculture with management disciplines such as:

  •  Agricultural Marketing
  •  Supply Chain and Logistics Management
  •  Entrepreneurship and Start-up Development
  •  Farm and Agribusiness Management
  •  Agri-input and Output Marketing

The four-year curriculum focuses on skill enhancement, industry exposure, and practical training. Students gain hands-on experience through internships and field-based learning. The program prepares graduates for successful careers in agribusiness management.

Course Objectives

  •  To develop a strong understanding of agriculture, agribusiness systems, and agri-value chains from production to marketing.
  •  To equip students with managerial, entrepreneurial, and decision-making skills relevant to agribusiness enterprises.
  •  To impart knowledge of agricultural marketing, finance, trade, and agribusiness economics for effective business operations.
  •  To train students in farm management, supply chain management, and agribusiness logistics.
  •  To develop competence in agribusiness accounting, project formulation, and financial analysis.
  •  To enhance skills in market analysis, consumer behavior, and agri-input/output marketing strategies.
  •  To promote entrepreneurship and startup development in agriculture and allied sectors.

ELIGIBILITY

    10+2 (Science) with PCB/PCM/PCMB or 10+2 Diploma in any branch of Agriculture from a recognised SAU/ICAR Institute.
